KUEKER JOINS COALITION TO SUPPORT IOWA’S FARMERS

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA – May 28, 2024 – Megan Kueker has been named Communications Specialist for the Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers (CSIF).

Kueker will communicate the Coalition’s mission and services by sharing the success stories of Iowa’s farm families who have grown their livestock farms successfully and responsibly using on-farm best management practices.

A native of West Union, Iowa, Kueker grew up on a diversified crop and livestock farm. She graduated from Iowa State University in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications.

“The Coalition has been a trusted resource for Iowa farm families wanting to remain viable on the land and active in their communities for more than twenty years,” said CSIF executive director Brian Waddingham. “Megan will help maintain and advance the Coalition’s reputation as a prompt, reliable and trusted resource for livestock and poultry farmers to call when they need assistance growing or maintaining their farms.”

The Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers was created by farmers to help farmers raise livestock successfully and responsibly. It’s a joint partnership involving the Iowa Beef Industry Council, Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, Iowa Corn Growers Association, Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, Iowa Pork Producers Association, Iowa Soybean Association, Iowa Turkey Federation, Midwest Dairy and the NC Poultry Association.
