Open House: Raising Cattle Under Roof

Farmers interested in learning about the benefits of raising cattle under roof are invited to attend an open house at Robbins Land and Cattle on Friday, March 14. A complimentary lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a short program following.
The open house will feature one barn that holds cow-calf pairs, feeder calves, and fat cattle, with a covered manure bay and headlocks.
Experts from CSIF will also be available to provide insight into interpreting rules and regulations impacting livestock farms, enhancing relationships with neighbors, and choosing good locations for new barns and feedlots. CSIF assistance is available to farm families at no charge.
